I accidentally left out a couple of things in yesterday’s post that might get a giggle out of a few of you …

Jim hurt his hand playing golf Saturday afternoon — he neglected to mention it to me until that evening when we were on our way to go have dinner with my parents. (ARGH, YOU MEN!) By the time we got home from dinner, all the area medical offices had closed, and would not be open Sunday because of the holiday. He didn’t want to go to the emergency room over “just a finger” — which was by then swollen, very crooked, and purple.

Anyways, he goes to the doctor today and came back with it in a splint and some pain meds. Apparently nothing’s broken or dislocated, but he was told that the tendon may be damaged so he needs to see a specialist and possibly have surgery.

It’s just jammed, that’s all. … Right … that’s why it’s freakin’ purple!

:roll: Apparently he hurt himself early in the golf match and played all damned day with his hand like that. *makes a mental note to find a kaosani wife smacking her hubby with a frying pan, b/c I need one for my blog posts about him! LOL*

The other thing, and I thought this was priceless, happened while we were in the Chinese restaurant yesterday with Jim’s mother. Jessie was reading our Chinese horoscopes to each of us. Jim’s a dog, and part of the description was “stubborn” and “selfish” … to which Jessie announces to the whole restaurant “Daddy’s stubborn and selfish!!”

Jim’s mom and I were in tears we were laughing so hard, and Jessie (seeing that we found it funny) kept saying it even louder. I wish I had a camcorder for that one. :mrgreen:
