It’s finally here, football fans! The University of Alabama’s A-Day game is Saturday. I’ll be loading up my Helio Ocean with ringtones and wallpapers, and am in the process of packing up supplies and goodies to take on the trip down to T’town! A quick run-down of details were posted on Fox6’s blog here, or you can get that and more info directly from the UA Game Day site here.
I certainly can’t speak for anyone else, but I have been waiting 5 long months for this day — this day that signifies the rebirth of the Crimson Tide. A time for new beginnings. A time for redemption. A time for retribution. A time for those bearing the bright crimson and white jerseys to once again hit the field and behold the deafening, roaring swarm of crimson and white colored fury emanating from the stands. We are that swarm, the screaming ocean of loyal legions of Tide fans who follow you, the Crimson Tide, rain or shine, pouring into Bryant-Denny stadium once again to catch a glimpse of our pride and joy, our aspirant warriors, our TEAM!

Roll tide! I’ve been here almost 4 years and still haven’t made it to a game. This might be the year.

We had a blast. About 20 of us got together and grilled out, then we all went up to the stadium and sat caddy cornered to the (south?) endzone. Seeing Saban almost get tackled by one of his players was funny.
It was a great time and I can’t wait to go back!
