What a year it’s been. I’m glad it’s almost over. Glad that the holidays are almost over. Thanksgiving was horrible, but tonight was kinda nice. Spent the evening with my folks, my brother, and his kids. My sis-in-law has been ill so she stayed home, but I’ll get to see her tomorrow. My brother invited me over for Christmas Day festivities. It’s a first, and I’ll take it. Looking forward to it.

I was honestly dreading tonight, mostly due to how lousy Thanksgiving was, but it was light and fun — and exactly what I needed.
