I was just telling one of my co-workers something Jessie said about my car when I was telling her about it going to the shop to be fixed. She noticed that I had removed my Soldiers’ Angels bumper magnets (I bought their bumper stickers and stuck them onto magnets). She said it was a good thing they were magnets because once the car is fixed, I can just put them back on; and that if I hadn’t done that (made them magnets) that they would have been removed with the door and bumper.
Smart kid, that one. :)
Sometimes I worry so much about the young stars that she looks up to and is influenced by — seems like one is always coming out of or going into drug rehab or getting pregnant or getting into some kind of trouble. I’m so afraid of her seeing bad examples (like her mother!) and her mimicking bad behavior …
… I know, I worry too much.
I think about her all the time, and the things she does and says; and I think to myself, “We’re so lucky. She’s a great kid!” She really is. I tell people that all the time. I’ll tell anyone who will sit still long enough to listen to me. :D
So I’m in a doting mood … which is great because I get to go pick her up in 3 hours. Jim and I have really missed her! :)

Don’t worry about her….just hope she doesn’t take after me! :P

Nicki, it sounds to me like you’re the primary source of a positive female role model in her life. Just keep doing what you’re doing and those negative media influences won’t stick with her.

Nicki
LOL @John … why do you think she’s not allowed to hang around you without parental supervision? ;)
@Rick, thank you. :)
Devilish Southern Belle
She is a smart, great kid, and I know that with the guidance you and her father give her, she will always make you proud!
