Wednesday night, I was going through catalogs and surfing around online looking for a match to those earrings that I posted. Jim was getting a little TOO amused by my frustration and at one point chuckled … I gave him a dirty look. Laughing and feigning sympathy, he asked what I was looking for. I showed him the earrings and he said, “Wow, those will look great with your wedding dress!” I told him I thought so too but was having a very hard time finding a necklace to match it. He thought it was early enough in the evening that most stores would still be open and suggested we ride around and see who all had what to offer.

Not a bad idea … good thing I’m marrying him, LOL

We tried several different places, but nothing really struck me as “HAD TO HAVE.” On a whim, Jim suggests, “Let’s try Wal-mart.”

That was an adventure, LOL!

We went in and looked at their jewelry selections and didn’t really see a whole lot. Jim then says, “I got an idea,” and walks towards the back. We walked through the electronics (and slowed down long enough to see if any new games or DVDs were in that we didn’t already have, hehe), then exercise equipment, then finally sports. Jim stops in front of a Ping Golf display. Humoring him I pretended to be really interested in some golfing gadget on a nearby shelf. After he’s gone over the display and decided he didn’t need anything, he says “Nope, no jewelry here. I guess we’ll have to try somewhere else.” LOL!

I laughed and rolled my eyes … who does he think he’s fooling? I said, “Honey if you wanted to look at the toys, you should’ve said so!” ;)
