I feel muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better today! :D Had a decent night’s sleep (first in several days) and woke up this morning feelin’ good. It’s now 8:04 am and so far I’ve updated all of my support tickets and am basically sitting here waiting on the rest of my department to show up, LOL!

I’m supposed to meet my mom today for lunch. I wanted to show her my rings (as they’ll be put up this weekend now that I know for certain that they fit well and will not need resizing), and hit her up for a wedding contribution. I had asked last summer if she and/or dad planned on helping out and I got a “not right now, maybe later” so not being able to wait any longer, I’m asking now so I know for certain and so Jim and I can move on and re-budget if needed.

Part of me is so excited about the wedding, but another part of me just wants it to be over with already, LOL! I’ve been looking at various housing and real estate magazines and brochures and have seen several great ideas for sprucing up little things around our house — most of it stuff Jim and I can do ourselves. I love DIY, or Do It Yourself, projects.

I saw this one last night:

It’s nothing really fancy or overly spectacular, just some under cabinet lighting that turned out very well. I saw that and thought to myself, “We could do that!” and it would really brighten up the kitchen! I’ve looked at several kits and maybe this fall Jim and I could start adding neat little things like that around the house. :)
