I was cleaning out box of junk I had on a shelf at my desk — actually, my desk is covered with junk right now, but most of it’s Jim’s and Jessie’s. LOL! Anyways, I ran across some gift cards leftover from Christmas shopping. Since nowadays most companies allow you to check the available balance online or via phone, I did … and one of them had a significant amount left!

So I went shopping. :cool:

It was a Chico’s card, and I so *love* their clothing and accessories — when I can afford it. I hit up their website and started browsing … I was able to access my account online, and they keep a record of what you buy (for sizes, etc. — handy for when bf/hubby shops for you!). I made a wishlist of several things I wanted and picked out what called me to most. What I had on the card was enough to make a purchase online and cover shipping, and have a little left over for when I’m able to hit the store again. :mrgreen:

It’s been a while since I bought myself something “girly.”

I have a good bit on a Proffit’s card too, so I’m going to hit them up later this week or next week and get a few small things for the house, or maybe pick up a couple of small gifts. (I’m supposed to be picking up a couple or so small baptism gifts for a friend of mine’s kids soon anyways.) Proffit’s doesn’t have the ability to order online using the gift card, so I’ll have to phone it in once I decide what I want. I’d go shopping in their store if I could actually FIND one near me. :P No biggie, I hate crowds anyways.
