Jess and I spent the day today cleaning, washing, and preparing for tomorrow’s trip to Tuscaloosa. I bought Jessie her first “real” Bama jersey today, so she’s DYING to wear it already! LOL
I was browsing the Breaking News section of The Birmingham News and saw this:
Preparing for A-day in Tuscaloosa
Ronnie Browning, field technician supervisor at Bryant Denny Stadium, paints the logo at midfield Friday with help from his ground crew. The University of Alabama is preparing for one of the largest crowds ever, with some estimates calling for 70,000 fans. New head coach Nick Saban will be leading his first Crimson Tide A-Day scrimmage.
ROLL TIDE ROLL!
See y’all there!

Wish you could have gone too. It was fun!!!
Nicki, what about the crowd? Amazing. I hope you had better luck than we did getting a seat. We had a blast anyway, I’d rather stand up in Bryant-Denny stadium than sit down anywhere else!

Luckily, Teresa went ahead of us and got the seats just after the gates opened (the rest of us took the kids the the Quad for games). We took up three rows directly over the tunnel entrance behind the southern endzone. It was unbelievable how quickly the stadium filled up!!
