It was 3am and I couldn’t sleep, so I found myself browsing various WordPress theme sites and found one that struck my fancy — Pulp, by Miquel Casas. So I downloaded it, liked the layout and modified to my liking. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s “widgetized” (i.e. Widget-ready) … I don’t like the way Widget-modified themes handle sidebars and would much rather code it myself.
So anyways, I’m now using my hacked up version of his theme. I recoded most of the sidebar, header, footer, and re-did the meta section. I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out, but may keep re-writing bits and pieces until I’ve done the whole thing. ;P (that’s usually what happens!)

Looks good, but the comment box is messed up out of alignment with the actual comments. Oh I finally added rss to my site http://www.inspiron.net/feeds/feed.xml you know you want to feedify me.

Doc. :)
Ben – I’ve viewed in IE and Fx and don’t see anything. Can you snap a screenshot for me?

Lookin’ good, Nit, although we need a little more Tide bling on here. :o)
What’s wrong with widgets? A little too My Space-ish?
Nitallica
LOL, true dat! I’m already working on a new Roll Tide theme and when finished will probably release it so others can use it.
re: widgets, it wouldn’t be so bad except that widgetized links and search form “look funny” to me … i.e. don’t match the way they look prior to being re-arranged via the widget/wp menu.
Until I can figure out why that is and how to fix it, I’ll code by hand. :P
Ben
Actually loading it from the office it looks fine now. Maybe my connection was just having problems last night. Anyway sorry for the false alarm.
