I’ve done it. I’ve finally created a “real” Firefox addon.
Ok, yeah, I’ve made a few before, but those didn’t count because they were just for me … and they sucked. LOL
I’ve been playing this web-based RPG called MonstersGame. (Wanna bite?) It’s really cute, and I’ve enjoyed playing over the last few weeks. I’m in a clan, and we just declared war on another clan, and I’m getting my butt kicked by higher level players, but it’s still fun. hehehe
I had bookmarked so many links for in-game use, it gave me an idea: why not create a Firefox extension to keep them all in one spot. Even better: why not add it to the browser menu? So I did.
I’m waiting to hear back from the AMO dev team on whether or not I can review my own extension before submitting it to the AMO/UMO site.
But if anything, I can offer it from my site. So I’m stoked … I’ve been giggling like a little school girl.
I’ve had some ideas for other extensions for a while, and might sit down and try to write one this weekend. In anticipation, I created a Firefox Extensions page so I can keep up with the ones I’m putting online for sharing/public use.
