I’m sitting here at work pouring over server logs, updating robots.txt and .htaccess files. (and updating my personal BadBehavior whitelists as I go, hehehe) Thought I’d make a quick post about a special event I’m helping a friend sponsor this weekend.

It’s called Special Equestrians, it’s a yearly benefit that offers therapeutic horseback riding to the physically, emotionally or mentally challenged. The riders are all ages; many who suffer from Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Down’s Syndrome, and other muscular and neurological disorders. Although I don’t have a horse, I have been helping fund and promote the event. Anyone is welcome is come up and ride (or walk if you don’t have a horse)

For any who are interested, it’s taking place this Saturday (Sunday if rained out) from 9 ’til 3 at Gates Shaw’s place in Brierfield Farms, Montevallo (AL). You can get more info by visiting the website, or call 205-987-WHOA (9462). There will be a huge cookout, so be prepared to eat!
