Last night went pretty well. Jim wasn’t feeling very good, so I walked around the subdivision with Jessie. We covered about 60 houses in about an hour and a half, so I figure that’s pretty good time! ;)

Although Jessie was a bit selective with a few of the houses. One in particular had an Auburn sticker on their car and upon seeing this Jessie says “Let’s skip this one, they go for Auburn.” I laugh and tell her that their candy is just as good as anyone else’s. Somehow I don’t think she believed me, hehehe. Of course, two doors down she is greeted by a man in an Alabama sweatshirt and she calls back to me “Hey, this one’s OK!!”

LOL!

She made the cutest ninja! And of course, being the cute little attention ham that she is, she made out like a bandit candy-wise. I swear, she brought home over 5lbs of candy in her little trick or treat sack (which I was carrying by the end of the night).

After walking around the subdivision, I took her down to the 1st Baptist Church. They always have a “Fall Festival” — trying to give a “Christian alternative” to that “heathen holiday” don’tcha know! :roll: So she gets to play some games (and gets MORE candy!) and we treated ourselves to a funnel cake and some cotton candy.

I’m hoping to have pix of her up here soon. I had to take Jim’s camera last night because mine’s being wonky. Plus she’s got a recital tonight at the school, so we’ll be there taking more pictures of her. (Who in their right mind schedules these things the day AFTER freakin’ HALLOWEEN!?!?!?)

Speaking of being in the right mind, I apparently wasn’t in mine this weekend. Big Jim’s vampire coronation wasn’t Sunday, it was Saturday and I missed it because I had the wrong date. :cry: (Sorry sweetie! :() I hate that I missed that, but I also hate that I missed seeing some old goth buddies of mine that play.

*sigh* I need to get out more …

Anyways, there’s a LAN party at Mopo’s this weekend, but I’m thinking of sitting it out. I haven’t been in much of a gaming mood lately, and I can’t think of a reason to go just yet. (Although John if you’re going, give me a call!)

I’ve been kinda moody lately … no real reason … well, mostly stress. Like a bad girl, I haven’t been going to work out and work has gotten crazy, so I’m stressing out more. Plus the holidays are coming up, and that means having to deal with family, which stresses me out more. It’s ok though, if I can make it to Christmas, I’ll be ok. ;)
